ATTENTION FLORIDA LICENSED CHIROPRACTORS:
The Florida Board has just implemented a new requirement for all FL licensed chiropractors to take a one-time course on HumanTrafficking for 1-hour that must be completed by January 2021.
This course incoporates the new requirement.
Human Trafficking is considered modern-day slavery. This course will give you a better understanding of what human trafficking is, how to identify a patient or an individual who may be a victim of human trafficking, and how to properly report the abuse. You will be equipped with the resources to help fight human trafficking and provide resources to victims. Learn important terminology in this field, the different types of human trafficking that exist and an understanding of the scope of the problem, both domestically and globally.
3 credits apply to FL licensed doctors ONLY; all other states are only eligible to receive up to 1 credit depending on Human Trafficking being viable subject matter for CE credit (NOT VALID IN NYS). It is the registrants responsibility to check with their state board(s).
This course is part of the 14-hour requirement for Florida Licensed Chiropractors.
