During this class session Dr. Petrocco-Napuli will discuss the impact of the opioid epidemic on special populations throughout the United States. As this crisis does not discriminate, it is incredibly important that practitioners focus on our varying patient populations such as pediatrics, female health: including pregnancy, geriatrics and veterans. Throughout this class, opioid utilization and the effects on patient centered inter-collaborative care will be discussed with strategies for Monday morning practice.
