DESCRIPTION
Patellofemoral Syndrome is the number one injury across all age groups, athletes, and non- athletes alike. This lecture will review the anatomical features, biomechanical faults and structural predispositions that lead to this peripatellar type pain, dysfunction and activity limiting condition. Diving into the kinetic chain evaluation that will determine the causative factors in the pathogenesis of patellofemoral syndrome will be examined and detailed. Bringing to the lecture recent research on this topic and cutting-edge treatment paradigms. Lastly, rehabilitation protocols will be reviewed bringing the full scope of mastering patellofemoral syndrome to the practitioner.
