DESCRIPTION
In light of the news coverage of sexual harassment accusations against many powerful people in government and the entertainment industry, as well as coaches on many levels, it is prudent to educate Doctors of Chiropractic on the prevention of sexual harassment in practice. It is quite likely that accusations will continue for quite some time in the future as victims gain the courage to report these events. The history of the development of sexual harassment laws will be reviewed, as well as the circumstances under which sexual harassment takes place. Strategies to prevent or at least minimize harassment will be discussed. The main focus will be on sexual harassment, but other sexual improprieties will be included.
